Correction and apologies

I have to apologise for making two mistakes on the diary page (which have now been corrected). The Havant Fair is, of course, on the 19th of November not the 20th as previously stated. Also the Northern Ireland Lace Guild is on the 12th not the 11th of November.

New Lace Books

At last we have two new British publications.

The first is Jane Atkinson's Contemporary Lace For You. A great resource book full of ideas of how to design modern lace, where you can seek inspiration, tips on how to convert your ideas into patterns, this is a full colour book to inspire you to try to design your own modern lace.

The second book is completely different, being 17 Floral Bucks Point patterns designed by Joyce Symes, redrafted and edited by Jean Leader. A must buy book for those who love Floral Bucks. (only a limited print)
