East of England Lace and Craft Supplies Fair 2009

We thought you might like to see some photos we took last year of the Fair, just to give you a flavour of what is on offer. These photos were taken in the last hour of the fair...we didn't have time to take any earlier!

This year the display will be done by the 89 Lace Group, and next year we hope to have a "Kadleidoscope of Collars".

This is only showing you part of what there is in store for you at the fair, and we look forward to seeing you at the Holiday Inn, Peterborough on Sunday the 9th of May 2010.

John Bull Trophy

Did any of you visit the John Bull Trophy Exhibition when it was on in Dudley last summer? Wasn’t it fantastic! So many ideas and ways of interpreting "Seven"! It was unbelievable.

This competition is open to all Lacemakers, not only Lace Guild Members; we have been given advance notice of the theme for the 2010 competition, it is "Movement" and is to tie in with the cultural part of the 2012 Olympics. So get your thinking caps on and see what ideas you can come up with this time.

Further details of the various classes etc. will be available on the Lace Guild web site www.laceguild.org from May onwards.

Gutermann's Sulky

We will now be stocking Gutermannn's Sulky No 30 cotton as a replacement for DMC 30. We have white and Ecru and a small range of colours in stock, But what colours! There are fantastic shades and the muted variegated colours are great, below are a few of the colours available.
