We now have a range of 7 colours - Blue, Red, Black, Grey, Burgundy, Green and Brown.

Lace Poppy

Susan and Makit Lace have gone into partnership, to make this more easily available for you.

We will be stocking her pattern which you can buy on line, or from our stand at lace days.

The cost is £2.50 half of which will be going to the British Legion, who have given permission for this pattern to be sold and poppies made to generate funds for the Poppy Appeal.

Makit Lace can also supply you with a variety of threads suitable for making this Poppy.

So help support the Poppy Appeal and make yourself a Lace Poppy.

Lace Scarves

We have all the items to enable you to have a go.

The pattern came from Jacqui Barber's books Tradition to Creation Vol. 1 and 2. Available from Makit Lace.

The bobbins are our 'Offord' Bobbin made especially for thicker threads. And Steve's Bobbin holders. We also stock the Berry pins used.

A good thread to start you off on your adventure are the Texere Yarn's variety packs, together with Pearl no 5.

And when you have finished as well as making a stylish scarf or bag for yourself...
