Ordering your bobbin lace suppliesYou can download our catalogue of bobbin lace supplies from the bottom of the home page. The following should answer your questions on how to order.
Writing your orderEnter your name, address, post code, contact telephone/fax number together with the details of your chosen product(s) onto our order form. It is essential that you record for each item you wish to order, it's product code, description, colour (if ordering threads), the quantity required, price and value.Total the value of the bobbin lace supplies that you wish to purchase and enter in the value of goods column. Complete the payment section of the order form.
Packing and carriageUK orders will be subject to packing and carriage at the following rates:
PaymentComplete the payment details to reflect your chosen method of payment. All payments are to be in pounds sterling.
Payment by chequeMake your cheque payable to Makit Lace and Needlecraft supplies. If you are uncertain of the order value, packing or carriage cost, we suggest that you pay by "open cheque", indicating a value which is not to be exceeded. We will adjst the value to reflect the costs incurred and send you an invoice in confirmation. All you need to do is write above the payee detail the limit of the cheque and do not enter a sum in the £ value box. See illustration.
Payment by credit/debit cardIndicate the card chosen as the payment method and in addition to the card number enter, where requested on the order form, the valid from and expiry dates, the issue number (where applicable) together with the customer verification number (CV)- the last three digits from the series of numbers on the reverse of the card (see illustration).If the delivery address for your order is different to the registered address for the card holder please ensure that the card holder's address is stated on the order form. Makit will adjust the value of the payment to reflect the costs of packaging and carriage and will advise you of the final amount.
Despatch of goodsYour bobbin lace supplies will be despatched immediately by the requested method once payment is received/authorised. Makit will include with each consignment an invoice confirming the content of the consignment, it's costs and the adjustment for carriage and packing.NOTEPlease ensure when ordering threads that you order sufficient for your project. Due to the slight variation in colour between dye batches, Makit cannot guarantee the exact colour match for split orders.
